The KPN Healthcare Messenger API solves the problems associated with poor communication between medical professionals and patients. Virtual waiting rooms
A patient’s healthcare relationship with a medical professional begins the moment that their appointment is confirmed. With Healthcare Messenger, you can build virtual waiting rooms that enable patients and practitioners to communicate with each other in the days leading up to an appointment. Practitioners can seek supplemental information and the health professionals can start to build rapport that may save time during the appointment itself.
Following many medical appointments, a medical practitioner will need to share results with the patient. Giving results over the phone can cause confidentiality problems. Asking patients to come back to the medical facility costs the patients time and puts extra burden on staff. Sharing results through the GDPR-compliant Healthcare Messenger would provide a confidential method that saves time and money.
Remote in-home visits
For patients who can’t leave home, an in-home visit from a medical practitioner is often the only option. However, using Healthcare Messenger a medic could 'visit' patients in their homes without having to leave the office.
