This service allows you to convert an e-mail message into a text message. This could be helpful when you want to send a text via a desktop to a mobile phone number, for example a customer service agent sending a personal message to a customer or supplier. In addition, you can also run automated (bulk) messages in a similar way via this interface (instead of via the KPN SMS API).
How it works
It works as follows, you send an e-mail to a KPN mail server and then the body of the e-mail will be sent as a text message to the desired recipient. Send an email to the recipient's phone number, followed by the '@' symbol, and then our domain 'email2smskpn.com'.
For example: 0612345678@email2smskpn.com.
Furthermore, you can whitelist specific email addresses to ensure that the traffic is trustworthy. And you can manage different Sender IDs and Email-to-SMS projects in the Developer Portal.
To start using this service, purchase the KPN SMS API in your dashboard. This will give you access to the Email to SMS functionality.
